Vloaters are our second, more art-focused collection created by Zarda. Mambonaut holders were able to claim free Vloaters at a rate of 4 Mambonauts = 1 free Vloater and the rest were available at .25 AVAX per Vloater.
They give 3 points on the Leaderboard by themselves, or 5 points when paired with a Mambonaut. All Vloaters royalty fees go to the MamboDAO treasury.
We experimented with a ton of new minting mechanics:
Mambonaut holders as well as holders of Mambo community members' collections were dropped $MAMBLOONS
Every Vloater minted with AVAX also came with 1 $MAMBLOON
20 $MAMBLOONS could then be used to mint a free Vloater
If you didn't have 20 $MAMBLOONS you could gamble what you had for a reduced chance at minting. For example, you could gamble 10 $MAMBLOONS for a 40% chance of a free mint.
All Vloaters minted for free with $MAMBLOONS were soulbound (could not be transferred) and had different metadata to reflect this. This was our way of giving holders "vesting" NFTs.
Once the mint closed, all soulbound Vloaters were unlocked and freely transferrable.
